Delivering ceremonial grade matcha from Japan. Wholesale for cafés worldwide.
We source ceremonial grade matcha directly from tea farms in Kagoshima, Yame, Uji and Shizuoka. From lattes to desserts to matcha whisked by hand, we help cafés serve a cup worth slowing down for, with traceability details for every lot available on request.

Brand concept
Cacoi comes from kakoi, an old Japanese word for the tea room. We take the idea one step further: a kakoi is any small space where you set yourself in order.
Cacoi is a wellness brand that shares Japan's traditional wisdom of everyday living, passed down through generations, with the world today.
More and more matcha with no clear origin is being sold today. We think knowing where, by whom and how your matcha was made is the most valuable thing we can offer. Details such as the producer, tea farm, cultivar and harvest year are available on request.
We visit every tea farm in person and buy through face-to-face relationships. We talk with producers and share what happens on their farms, including the challenges Japan's tea industry faces.
Cacoi is run in Japan by a Japanese team who are members of the Tokyo Tea Cooperative (Tokyoto Cha Kyodo Kumiai), working directly with producers.
You can visit our partner tea farms and matcha factories in Japan and meet the people who grow your matcha. We can help you plan and arrange the trip.

Origins
Each region gives its tea a different character. We select lots from each to match how our partners serve matcha.
Southern Kyushu. Japan's largest tea-producing region, where a warm climate brings early harvests and bright, vivid green tea.
Northern Kyushu. Traditionally famous for gyokuro, and known for its deep, rich umami.
The historic home of matcha, with centuries of tea-making tradition.
One of Japan's best-known tea regions, between Mount Fuji and the Pacific.
Certifications & compliance
Our organic range is certified under Japan's Organic JAS standard. Our matcha is also prepared for export with US FDA registration and Halal certification. With these in place, our partners face a lower risk of customs issues when importing into the United States and other markets.
